I’m celebrating the launch of my newly designed website, and I hope that you’ll join me!
It’s been a long time since we talked, and so much has happened. I moved from Virginia to a small hobby farm in North Carolina, which I share with a friend and three miniature donkeys, 30 chickens, and eight collies. Life around here is never dull!
The last two years have been difficult. After 40 years of marriage, I found myself suddenly single—divorced, actually—something I had hoped and prayed would never happen. I thank God for the friends who embraced me with open arms, loved me, cooked for me, and instilled hope in me.
The good news is I am expanding my offerings in each of the categories of services I provide: spiritual direction, mentoring, life coaching, leadership coaching, and even my writing services. Watch for new announcements in the weeks and months ahead.
Relaunch of My Website
I love how clean and fresh the new site is. It mirrors this important new beginning in my life. The site is still a bit of a work in progress, but here’s what you can expect to find in the weeks and months ahead:
- New weekly blog posts
- A quarterly newsletter, filled with helpful articles, tools, and resources
- Free resources, including downloadable handouts on contemplative practices like Lectio Divina, the Prayer of Examen, tools for discernment, and more.
And in light of the current pandemic and the isolation so many people are experiencing, I’m looking into ways to facilitate virtual community, for example, by offering virtual book clubs and classes.
Book Club
In fact, the first book club launches January 11, 2021, and it’s free! We’ll be reading and discussing Shelly Miller’s book, “Searching for Certainty: Finding God in the Disruptions of Life.” There’s still time to join. Just drop me a note using the contact form on my site, and I’ll add you’re name to the list. It’s that simple!
That’s it for now. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you’ll be back soon!
