Life & Leadership Coaching

________

As a Certified Professional Life Coach and Executive and Leadership Development Coach, I partner with motivated emerging and established spiritual and workplace leaders to accelerate personal or professional growth and change. My areas of specialty include life purpose and calling discovery, leadership development and growth, soul care, sabbatical coaching, church staff and ministry support, and  entrepreneurial endeavors. I also reserve a limited number of spots for coaching emerging and established writers.

To foster client awareness, I use several assessments in the coaching process, including the MBTI®, Enneagram, CliftonStrengths assessment, and others, based on client need and desire. In my experience, these tools accelerate client growth and results. and I recommend them to most of my clients.

What is Coaching?

The International Coach Federation (ICF) “defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity, and leadership.”

I also align myself with the definition of a Christian coach provided by Christian Coaches Network International:

A Christian coach uses the skills of professional coaching to enable clients to affect change, create new awareness, and move into action, while keeping in mind the bigger picture of humanity as taught by a biblical worldview. Since clientele vary in their walks of life or perspectives on faith, the coach chooses frameworks that best suit the client’s agenda. The biblical perspective remains the lens from which the coach views the client, but the integration of that perspective is sensitively adapted to the individuality of the client.

Practically speaking, I create a safe space for growth and discovery. As a professional coach, I commit to demonstrating respect for your perceptions, learning style, and personal being. I use such tools as active listening, powerful questions, direct communication, brainstorming, and more to facilitate learning and affect change, creating awareness and designing actions with clients that will help them move toward their stated goals.
